Non-screen type state of the art USFS approved turbine style spark arrestor specifically designed and tested to flow exactly the same as the stock OEM TPI silencer thus providing zero reduction in performance and zero risk of TPI reliability issues associated with modifications of exhaust flow.
This Gen. 2 version gets a 150 gram (5.3 oz) weight reduction over Gen. 1 via improved machining & manufacturing techniques with no changes to internal flow area dimensions (no changes to flow). Also included with the Gen. 2 are two O-rings for each end of the stock aluminum silencer can, one is intended to seal the end of the spark arrestor to the can for less drool & the other as a spare in case the stock O-ring on the inlet side is damaged during installation.
Note Gen.1-1.5 & Gen.2 endcaps are not interchangeable. The Gen.2 endcaps have a machined lip that interlocks with the end of the spark arrestor for improved alignment & strength allowing for a reduction in shell thickness/weight.

Cleaning: DO NOT USE degreasers with sodium hydroxide i.e. Purple Power, etc. These cleaners will attack the aluminum & anodized surfaces & make the anodized colors fade. Use regular household detergents (like Dawn) & WD-40 as a degreaser.
Note: Anodized color on end caps will fade over time due to heat, UV light, & chemical exposure. If you are concerned about color fade order the Silver Anodized color which uses no color dyes.
